Charles L. Gleason Scholarship Fund

SEAFORD, DE (February 20, 2014)–   Sussex County Federal Credit Union Foundation is pleased to announce that it will be awarding five $1000 college scholarships. The scholarship program is a reflection of the Foundation’s commitment to positively influence the opportunities for Sussex County and City of Milford students to excel. Funding was made available by a generous donation from Charles Gleason, Vice Chairman of the Sussex County Board of Directors.  Mr. Gleason has served as a volunteer at the credit union since1998 and exemplifies the credit union philosophy of “People Helping People.”

This scholarship is available to high school seniors or college students currently enrolled in a two or four year accredited college, whom excel in school as well as extracurricular activities and are active members of Sussex County Federal Credit Union.
