City & County Credit Union modernizes traditional approch to banking
SHOREVIEW, MN (May 13, 2015) – On January 24, 2015 City & County Credit Union officially opened the doors to a new branch in Shoreview which signified a drive for innovation and a goal to engage members with a modern way of banking.
With technology rapidly growing, traditional banking methods are starting to be replaced by mobile and online banking. It is this focus on technology, and evolving the member experience, that was the inspiration for the new Shoreview location. City & County Credit Union installed the latest technology and modified the layout to create a seamless banking experience for members to engage in the new space.
Walking into the new branch, members immediately experience the future of banking. Instead of standing in a traditional teller line, members are greeted by a highly trained member experience team from a cash bar that requires no deposit slips.
While they are inside the branch, they can learn how to conduct transactions utilizing an iPad or iPhone at the device bar or they can brew a cup of coffee in the lounge while they view stock market updates on multiple LCD screens. If members don’t have time to stop inside the branch, they can make cash and check deposits, withdrawals, and verify account balances using the 24-hour SMART ATMs.
