Cold Weather Clothing drive Underway at UMassFive College Credit Union

HADLEY, MA (January 7, 2015) — You can help keep others warm this winter.

A cold-weather clothing drive is being held now by the UMassFive College Federal Credit Union.

The Hadley and Northampton branches are collecting donations of gently used coats, gloves, hats, sweaters, and blankets throughout the month.

The items will then go to members of the Amherst and Northampton Survival Centers.

“If you’ve got kids that have outgrown a jacket or two, those are great. People who got new coats and stuff for Christmas, we could use your old coats…and it’s a really big need,” explains John Reske, Vice President of Marketing for UMassFive.

This drive is part of a larger initiative with credit unions across the state for the Coalition for the Homeless.
