Community Financial Credit Union giving $400K back to members

(January 7, 2015) — Community Financial Credit Union this week announced it will distribute $400,000 to members as part of the Member Bonus program. The program was designed to return the cooperative’s earnings back to its members.

More than 3,200 members are eligible for a member bonus and will receive amounts ranging from $5 to nearly $3,500, according to a news release issued Monday. Member bonuses are calculated based on the amount of interest and dividends earned on deposit accounts, as well as interest paid on loans.

Since 2008, Community Financial Credit Union has given back $2.1 million to members, according to the news release.

Community Financial has more than 18,000 members in Broomfield, Thornton, Superior, Westminster, Boulder, Louisville and Lafayette. Information: yourlocalcreditunion.com.
