LATHAM, NY (December 29, 2014) — Community Resource Federal Credit Union’s employees donated $4,800 to the Mohawk Hudson Humane Society (MHHS) to help fund its operations.

“The money will go to care for the animals, including micro chipping, spay and neutering, health care, and food,” said Nancy Laribee, Marketing and Development Director for MHHS.

Community Resource’s employees have been working with MHHS for five years and raised the money through a year-long fundraising campaign that included Pet Photos with Santa, a Haunted Asylum, bake and craft sales, and calendar raffles. The employees also held a bottle drive in May.

Community Resource Federal Credit Union is a community credit union serving those who live, work, worship, or attend school in Albany County and their families. Community Resource provides friendly service, outstanding rates, and low fees on a full range of financial products. Community Resource has $75 million in assets and 7,000 members.
