Connie J. Taylor named Chief Executive Officer at First General Credit Union

MUSKEGON, MI (April 2, 2014) – First General Credit Union has selected Connie J. Taylor as its Chief Executive Officer.  Formerly the CEO of Rockford Community Federal Credit Union in Rockford, Michigan, Taylor will assume her role on April 21, 2014.

“We chose Connie because of her expertise in the credit union industry, as well as her organizational and leadership skills to lead a growing and dynamic credit union.  Connie shares our commitment to provide up to date banking solutions as well as our passion to provide excellent member service,” said Robert Suits, FGCU Board Chairman.

Ms. Taylor has proven success in managing credit union member and asset growth while maintaining a strong ROA and building capital.  Her success has also been evident in projects including a branch renovation, a data processor conversion and a net worth restoration plan.

As an advocate for credit unions and through her communications with state and federal lawmakers, FGCU members can be confident that Ms. Taylor will preserve the strength of the credit union and the interests of credit union members.
