Consumers Credit Union announces promotions in leadership and advisory roles

Kalamazoo, MI (May 19, 2026) |

Consumers is proud to announce the promotion of three team members into leadership and advisory roles, reflecting the organization’s continued commitment to developing talent and delivering exceptional service to members and communities.

Katie Stoll has been promoted to vice president of operations, expanding her leadership responsibilities across the credit union. Stoll began her career at Consumers as an office manager at the former corporate headquarters and later helped lead the opening of the Corner@Drake location. She played an instrumental role in launching the first TellerPlus+ offices, helping introduce new technology solutions to members.

Since moving into the Operations department in 2016, Stoll has led the electronic payments team and most recently served as the vice president of payments. In her new role, she will oversee card operations, deposit operations, and interactive teller machine and system operations. In April 2026, she earned her CUES Certified Credit Union Executive Manager designation and holds a bachelor of arts from Michigan State University. Stoll has also been a key contributor to Consumers’ climate and sustainability initiatives as part of the organization’s strategic plan.

“I’m honored to step into this expanded role and continue supporting the teams that keep our operations running strong,” said Stoll. “As we continue to evolve, I look forward to driving innovation, improving operational excellence and positioning our organization for long-term success.”

Josh Pompey has transitioned to treasury management sales manager, where he will lead the strategy and execution of business deposit growth and treasury management services. Since joining Consumers in 2017, Pompey has been a driving force in the Lansing market, previously serving as vice president of retail there and leading the successful expansion into the region.

In his new role, Pompey will oversee treasury management officers, collaborate with senior leadership to align business services with organizational strategy and work closely with internal teams to deliver tailored financial solutions to business members. His efforts will focus on strengthening relationships, expanding treasury management offerings and supporting long-term growth within the business community.

“I’ve always been passionate about serving the business community and helping local organizations grow,” said Pompey. “I’m excited to focus on delivering solutions that make it easier for businesses to succeed and strengthen the communities we serve.”

Isaac Yates has been promoted to financial advisor within Consumers Investment Services. Yates joined Consumers in May 2024 as a member service center representative, where he supported members while continuing to develop his expertise in financial planning and investment strategies. He joined the investment services team in April 2025 as a junior financial advisor.

Yates holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from Western Michigan University and his Series 7 and 66 registrations. His commitment to learning, combined with a strong customer service background, has positioned him well to guide members through important financial decisions.

“Helping people feel confident about their financial future so they can fully enjoy life’s blessings motivates me every day,” said Yates. “I’m grateful for the opportunity to grow in this role and continue supporting members as they work toward their long-term financial goals.”

These promotions reflect Consumers’ dedication to cultivating leadership from within and ensuring members receive knowledgeable, relationship-focused support at every stage of their financial journey.
