Cornerstone Foundation partners with Community Impact Fund to enhance financial wellness initiatives

PLANO, TX (November 12, 2024) |

The Cornerstone Foundation is excited to announce its partnership with the Community Impact Fund (CIF), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit established in 2018 to help credit unions and organizations maximize community impact by addressing the financial needs of employees and community partners. This partnership aims to provide essential resources to support financial wellness initiatives and drive sustainable community development.

The Community Impact Fund is dedicated to advancing financial well-being by empowering credit unions to offer Impact Loans and financial education resources, fostering a lasting positive effect on their employees and community partners. Through this partnership, the Cornerstone Foundation and CIF will work together to offer tools that expand credit unions’ abilities to provide accessible financial support to employees and community partners, addressing immediate financial challenges while promoting long-term economic resilience.

“We’re thrilled to partner with the Community Impact Fund,” said Courtney Moran, executive director of the Cornerstone Foundation. “This initiative aligns perfectly with our mission to empower credit unions to make a meaningful difference in their communities. Through this program, credit unions can support their employees’ financial stability and contribute to broader financial wellness across the communities they serve.”
