Courtney Woody brings Freedom First Mortgage to first Lynchburg branch
ROANOKE, VA (April 5, 2023) — Freedom First Credit Union is excited to welcome Courtney Woody as VP Mortgage Loan Originator to their Lynchburg team.
Courtney joined Freedom First to spearhead mortgage lending in the Greater Lynchburg region from the Langhorne Branch location at 2102 Langhorne Road in Lynchburg, which is scheduled to host a grand opening event on April 20th. She brings 25 years of banking experience and 10 years of mortgage industry experience to the Freedom First team, who expanded their banking services into the Greater Lynchburg and Shenandoah Valley markets in 2020.
“Mortgage lending became my passion when I saw how rewarding it is to make the dream of homeownership a reality for so many people,” Courtney said. “I am truly excited to being at an organization that gives so much back to the community, and I’m looking forward to spreading the word in Lynchburg about what we can offer!”
Courtney lives in Lynchburg with her husband of 15 years, their daughter, and their pets, and she has served on the Lynchburg Association of Realtors® Affiliates Committee for 9 years.
