ORLANDO, FL (June 17, 2026) |
The credit union community came together during ENGAGE 2026 for the Night of Miracles Gala, raising more than $1,000,000 in support of Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals in Alabama, Florida, Georgia, and Virginia.
The gala brought together 450 credit union leaders, partners, and supporters for an evening that blended celebration with purpose. The event featured live entertainment, silent and live auctions, and powerful storytelling that highlighted the impact of Credit Unions for Kids (CU4Kids). Attendees connected around a shared commitment to expanding access to life-saving care and critical resources for children in their local communities.
“The Night of Miracles Gala brings the credit union community together around a shared purpose that goes beyond financial services,” said Denelle Miller, President and CEO of FiCare Federal Credit Union and Night of Miracles Gala Chair. “Seeing this level of generosity and commitment in one room is what credit unions are all about and what makes this particular event so meaningful.”
The evening also included a keynote address from Noah Galloway, a Purple Heart recipient, military veteran, and nationally recognized motivational speaker whose journey of overcoming adversity reinforced the importance of resilience, purpose, and supporting those in need.
A defining moment of the evening came from Carter Harrison, this year’s Miracle Child, who was born with a complex congenital heart defect and has faced multiple medical challenges with remarkable resilience and joy. His story served as a powerful reminder of the life-changing impact that Children's Miracle Network Hospitals have on children and families.
Through CU4Kids, credit unions across the country continue to unite in support of local children’s hospitals, ensuring that funds raised stay within their communities to provide critical care, equipment, and services.
The League of Credit Unions & Affiliates extends its appreciation to the sponsors, donors, and attendees whose generosity made this evening possible.
