Credit Union ONE exemplifies core philosophy through giving

FERNDALE, MI (February 18, 2014) – Credit Union ONE annually reaches out in the winter season to help those in the communities they serve that may need support, and in 2013 this was no exception.
During the month of December all branches of Credit Union ONE including their Grand Rapids and Traverse City Michigan branches were involved in various giving efforts which included:.

• Collections for Toys for Tots at all Michigan Credit Union ONE branches included over 1,000 toy

• Food Drives for Forgotten Harvest in Metro Detroit, Father Fred Foundation in Traverse City, West Side Food Pantry in Grand Rapids, and the Latino Press Foundation Food Drive in Detroit resulted in approximately 1,500 pounds of donated goods, and over 200 families receiving boxes of food.

• Sponsorship of Winter Dreams 2013 Program continues to assist in the revitalization of Clark Park in Detroit

• Sponsorship of Ferndale Community Ice Festival provides Ferndale residents with family-friendly free activities during the event.
