Credit union recognized by CU Direct for achievements in lending
Credit Unions Presented with Industry Best Practice and Diamond Awards During CUSO’s Annual Lending Conference

The awards, which recognize credit unions’ accomplishments in lending, were presented during the CUSO’s annual credit union lending and marketing conference, held this week at the Aria Hotel Resort & Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada.
A capacity crowd of more than 450 conference attendees attended the event’s Awards Luncheon. Eight credit unions were recognized for their exemplary lending practices and success in 2013. During the luncheon, six credit unions were awarded by CU Direct for their best practices in the areas of Portfolio Management, Business Development, and Marketing to Members. The company also recognized two credit unions for their overall excellence and success in the lending marketplace, by presenting them with the CU Direct Diamond Award.
In the category of Portfolio Management, Superior, Wisconsin’s Superior Choice Credit Union and Las Vegas, Nevada’s Silver State Schools Federal Credit Union were honored with the Best Practice Award. San Antonio, Texas’ Security Service Credit Union and Moose Lake, Minnesota’s Lake State Credit Union were honored with the Best Practice Award for their success in the category of Business Development.
For their success in the category of Marketing to Members, Madison, Wisconsin’s Summit Credit Union and Omaha, Nebraska’s Centris Federal Credit Union were presented with the Best Practice Award.
Rounding out the afternoon’s awards, CU Direct recognized Portsmouth, New Hampshire’s Northeast Credit Union and Oklahoma City, Oklahoma’s Communication Federal Credit Union with the CU Direct Diamond Award, for their continued success in advancing their lending programs and championing the importance of a credit union-owned delivery channel.
