Although students are trained and supervised by South Florida Educational FCU staff, they are responsible for opening new accounts, conducting transactions, working with school officials to set hours of operation and motivating their fellow students to save money.
To reinforce good saving habits, South Florida Educational FCU’s award winning “Got Green?” financial literacy program will conduct classroom workshops on goal setting, money management, budgeting, investing, and credit management.
