CUES Next Top Credit Union Exec Finalist Presentations Approaching MADISON, Wis.-The final presentations for the Next Top Credit Union Exec competition are just around the corner – mark November 8, 2010, on your calendar.
The six young credit union employees have been blogging and posting videos at NextTopCreditUnionExec.com about their respective projects in preparation for the face-off event taking place during the CUES’
CEO/Executive Team Network in Dallas. The six presenters are:
WEST: Tina Hall, Verity Credit Union, Seattle
MIDWEST: Amy Grothaus, CommunityAmerica Credit Union, Kansas City, Missouri
NORTHEAST: Amy Stanton, Connex Credit Union, North Haven, Connecticut
SOUTHWEST: Kelsey Balcaitis, A+ Federal Credit Union, Austin, Texas
SOUTHEAST: Ronaldo Hardy, La Capitol Federal Credit Union, Baton Rouge, Louisiana
CANADA: Jodi Chambers, Assiniboine Credit Union, Winnipeg, Manitoba
Each Finalist will have 10 minutes to recap their project for the judging panel and audience, who will vote for their favorite Finalist.
According to CUES Council officer and judge Michael Wark, president/CEO of Valley Credit Union, Waterville, Nova Scotia *The results, regardless of overall winner of the contest, will be beneficial to all credit unions. We are in an ever-changing market; new demographics and changes are necessary but also challenging. The youth in our system worldwide offer a fresh approach to an *old business model,* and we need to embrace these opportunities and ensure we allow full participation in our strategic plans.
My hope is by having young employees more involved, we will maintain the strong future leaders in our credit union for a long time. *
The public will also be able to view the presentations and vote online at NextTopCreditUnionExec.com on November 9 until 5 p.m. ET. The Finalist with the highest score based on audience and online votes, as well as the judging panel results, will earn the title of Next Top Credit Union Exec.
