Presenter: Joel Trammell, Founder and CEO, Khorus

Session Description
It’s no surprise that the roles of credit union CEOs and senior executives are difficult, requiring leadership ability and a wide range of skills.
What is surprising is how few resources exist to address the unique challenges of these positions. And unfortunately, at the top spots in the organization, leaders don’t have much guidance on which of their many responsibilities to focus on.

In this session, Joel Trammell will discuss the top responsibilities of CEOs and senior executives and how to balance them. Based on over 20 years of CEO experience, Trammell is a thought leader in the CEO space and has recently published an award-winning book, The CEO Tightrope, to provide a method and a guide around the CEO role.

All webinar attendees will receive a free copy of The CEO Tightrope.

Attendees will learn more about five key leadership responsibilities:
•             Own the vision—how to set a vision that turns a group of people into a team with a purpose
•             Provide the proper resources—how to fill the human and capital needs of all parts of the organization
•             Build the culture—how to build a culture that’s based on values, not on rules
•             Make decisions—how to make sure decisions are made quickly, with high quality, and at the right level in the company
•             Deliver performance—how to make sure strategy breaks down into execution across the business

The expectation is for the business to always move forward. Drawn from Trammell’s years of study and experience, the book explores the various points of balance challenging every CEO. He identifies what it looks like when a CEO is off balance, and offers modern techniques and approaches to regain it.
