CUNA announces new free webinar on IRA legislative updates
WASHINGTON, DC (June 11, 2020) — CUNA will be conducting a new free member benefit webinar, IRA Special Edition – Legislative Update, on June 16.
“Congress has passed the most comprehensive retirement reform legislation in over a decade and the largest relief package in U.S. history,” said Melisa Kallestad, director of compliance education at CUNA. “IRA Special Edition – Legislative Update webinar provides an overview of need-to-know information on how recent changes have impacted retirement and health savings arrangements.”
This webinar will cover a high-level overview of the SECURE Act, including effective dates and an explanation of its provisions. Attendees will also discuss COVID-19 guidance, including the CARES Act and ways to manage these legislative changes.
