CUNA announces webinar explaining changes to the Mortgage Servicing Rules

WASHINGTON, DC (November 14, 2017) — With both recent and additional upcoming changes to the mortgage servicing rules, CUNA has announced the new CFPB’s Amendments to the Mortgage Servicing Rules webinar. Occurring December 12, 2017, this live webinar will explain both the recent October 2017 changes as well as the additional changes which take effect in April 2018.

“Credit unions that provide mortgage loans just had their servicing responsibilities increase in ways that can be difficult to learn on your own,” said Michael Christians, senior federal compliance counsel at CUNA. “This webinar will keep compliance professionals up to date on these recent changes and give them an opportunity to discuss with one of CUNA’s top compliance counselors.”

The webinar will be hosted by Michael Christians, senior federal compliance counsel with CUNA. It’s specifically designed for mortgage originators, mortgage servicing staff and compliance professionals.

Individuals who sign up for the live webinar also gain access to the recorded session if they’re unable to attend the live course. CUNA Training Bundle users can access the webinar at no additional cost.
