CUNA Attorney’s Conference open for 2019 and 2020 registration

WASHINGTON, DC (January 23, 2019) — Registration is live for the next two years of CUNA Attorney’s Conference, designed to help both in-house counsel and outside practitioners stay updated on the legal and regulatory issues surrounding credit unions.

“This conference is an annual opportunity to both earn CLE credits relevant to your practice and network with colleagues who you can call upon to help you work through issues,” said Guy Messick, 2018 CUNA Attorney’s Conference speaker, attorney at Messick, Lauer & Smith. “The best part is the connections you make and reuniting with those friends every year in unique places.”

With sessions presented by current practitioners and industry experts, this conference provides attorneys who represent credit unions and credit union organizations with the most up-to-date information they need to best represent their clients.

“Credit unions need well-trained individuals who can help them navigate the regulatory barriers and pitfalls between them and their members,” said Jared Ihrig, CUNA chief compliance officer. “This conference helps create informed legal experts who credit unions know they can trust.”

The 2019 CUNA Attorney’s Conference will be held October 28-30 in Atlanta GA. 2020’s conference will be held October 26-28 in Jackson Hole, WY.
