CUNA IRA Fundamentals eSchool provides foundational knowledge

WASHINGTON, DC (December 16, 2021) — Credit union professionals can learn the latest on how to properly administer Individual Retirement Accounts (IRAs) at CUNA IRA Fundamentals eSchool in January and February.

“IRAs never seem to get easier,” said Jess MacLagan, CUNA instructional design manager. “Being surrounded by regulations and IRS rules, it is nice to have an eSchool to help teach you the must-knows about the subject.”

Attendees of this eSchool can become knowledgeable about the basics of IRAs, including:

  • How to open and amend IRAs
  • Details about IRA contributions and distributions
  • Reporting
  • Withholding
  • Required Minimum Distributions
  • Transfers & Rollovers
  • 2022 legislation updates
