CUNA Lending Council celebrates 1,300 members
MADISON, WI (August 14, 2015) — The CUNA Lending Council has reached the milestone of 1,300 members, a result of several years of impressive growth and a collective commitment to striving for excellence in the credit union industry. The Lending Council has the 2nd largest membership of the six CUNA Councils.
“The Lending Council continues to grow not only because members appreciate the value of an organization devoted to learning and sharing with peers, but because the lending business is becoming increasingly challenging every year,” says Jason Osterhage, Lending Council Executive Committee Chair and SVP Lending at Alliant CU in Chicago, IL. “I can’t imagine being in credit union lending, and in a leadership capacity, without being a CUNA Lending Council member.”
Gayle Rust Gustafson, Lending Council Membership Committee Chair and VP Lending at Rivermark Community CU in Beaverton, OR adds, “reaching this milestone reflects that the Lending Council is the key source for credit union lenders to connect with peers nationally, obtain information and resources quickly from other lenders, and to grow professionally.
