WASHINGTON, D.C. – Kathryn Davis, long-time CMBDC member and the current Secretary/Treasurer of the Council was honored with the Credit Union Times “Marketer of the Year” Trailblazer Award at this week’s CUNA Governmental Affairs Conference in Washington, D.C.

Davis, SVP of Marketing at Xceed Financial Credit Union in El Segundo, CA was honored for her dedication to credit union marketing and her efforts to bring the marketing function to the forefront of the industry.

“The CUNA Marketing & Business Development Council is thrilled that one of our own has been honored with this prestigious award,” said Sean McDonald, Chair of the CUNA Marketing & Business Development Council, “Kathryn is a champion for credit union marketing and her dedication, passion, and enthusiasm for credit unions is inspiring.  I want to thank Credit Union Times for recognizing Kathryn’s efforts and contributions to our industry.”

Davis was previously honored by the Council with the “Marketing Professional of the Year” award in 2009.
