MADISON, Wis. – CUNA Mutual Group has added to its senior leadership as part of its efforts to strengthen the company’s growth strategies.

Kenn Lalonde joins CUNA Mutual Group as executive vice president and will oversee the company’s diversification and Wealth Accumulation businesses. He will also become one of five members of the company’s Senior Executive Team (SET). Susan Sachatello will lead the company’s consumer strategy as senior vice president of the Direct-to-Consumer business.

“The additions of Kenn and Susan will help the organization improve its focus on businesses where we have growth opportunities,” said Jeff Post, president/CEO of CUNA Mutual Group. “By sharpening the focus on and continuing our investment in our diversification and consumer businesses, CUNA Mutual Group will bring even greater value to those we serve.”

Lalonde is rejoining the company after having served as president and CEO of CUMIS Group Ltd., a former Canadian subsidiary of CUNA Mutual Group. CUMIS Group Ltd. provided a comprehensive set of products and services to credit unions and credit union members all across Canada. In his new role, Lalonde will lead CUNA Mutual Group’s Wealth Accumulation products, including 401k, CUNA Brokerage Services, Inc.; and the company’s diversification businesses, ProAg and CPI Qualified Plan Consultants, Inc.

Sachatello will direct another strategic priority – the company’s Direct-to-Consumer business. Prior to joining CUNA Mutual Group, Sachatello was chief marketing officer for Lands’ End in Dodgeville, Wis. She also held marketing leadership roles at Limited Brands, including responsibilities with Victoria’s Secret, Bath & Body Works, Express and Limited stores.
