CUNA Mutual Group’s Ann Davidson to retire June 2

Veteran Risk Management Consultant Caps 40-Year Career with Credit Union Insurer

MADISON, WI (May 27, 2014) — After 40 years of helping protect credit unions and their members, Ann Davidson, CUNA Mutual Group senior risk management consultant, will retire June 2.

Davidson is widely known throughout the credit union movement as a frequent speaker on a variety of fraud prevention and compliance topics. She is considered an authority on payments and has conducted hundreds of training seminars for credit union employees on electronic payments, plastic cards, ACH and wires. She has also been responsible for researching and analyzing emerging risks for product development along with developing resources and other training materials for credit unions.

Since beginning her career with CUNA Mutual Group in 1974, Davidson has worked in claims, underwriting and loss prevention within the Credit Union Protection Division. She attended the University of Wisconsin and is a member of the International Association of Financial Crime Investigators Group.

“It’s been a privilege to work with credit unions these many years to help educate and protect them against the many risks and loss scenarios they face in their everyday business,” Davidson said. “I’ve met some wonderful people along the way, and I will always treasure those relationships.”
