CUNA to offer eBook for financial counseling certification
MADISON, WI (July 13, 2015) — CUNA has announced that it will release Financial Counseling Education Program in an eBook format. The eight-book series provides readers with the training and preparation necessary to earn the Credit Union Certified Financial Counselors (CUCFC) designation.
The courses, which empower students to offer comprehensive, actionable financial advice to credit union members, are offered in eBook form for the first time. The books cover all the fundamental modules of the course, including money attitudes and behaviors, living expenses, retirement and more.
“We are thrilled to offer this eBook series as an alternative to our print and eSchool options,” says Courtney Cantwell, instructional design manager at CUNA. “This new option will further enable credit union professionals to obtain their financial counseling certifications, allowing more credit unions to offer financial counseling services to their members.”
The eBooks will be sold both individually and as kits.” An eBook is also new for the recertification process now available.
