CUNA to offer Economic Update videos as new member benefit
MADISON, WI (April 15, 2015) – CUNA announced today the release of its new monthly Economic Update videos, which will be available as a member benefit to all affiliated credit unions and leagues.
“We know how important it is for credit unions to have access to the latest economic trends and data,” said Bill Hampel, CUNA’s chief policy officer. “By providing Economic Update videos as a CUNA membership benefit, we ensure that our members have the knowledge and insights they need for leading as financial institutions.”
Sponsored by the CUNA CFO Council, Economic Update grants credit unions access to critical information including economic forecasts, research highlights and targeted analyses of the credit union industry. Each 15-minute video features valuable insights and analyses from CUNA’s expert economists. Videos discuss timely economic factors and implications, including:
· Analysis of CUNA’s Credit Union Estimates Report and a variety of economic indicators
· Consumer behavior and the impact on credit unions
· Economic trends and projections
· The latest economic developments and issues
