Dawn Martin joins San Diego County Credit Union as Senior Vice President of Human Resources
Brings extensive experience in human resources to the credit union’s leadership team
SAN DIEGO, CA (July 9, 2015) — Dawn Martin has been named Senior Vice President of Human Resources at San Diego County Credit Union® (SDCCU®). Martin joins SDCCU with over 20 years of experience in managing human resources functions across a variety of industries. At SDCCU, Martin is responsible for managing all credit union HR functions, including employee relations, recruiting and hiring, compensation and evaluation, payroll and benefits administration and for developing, maintaining and administering all human resource policies, procedures and programs as directed by the Executive Vice President of Human Resources.

Prior to joining SDCCU, Martin served as Director of Human Resources for Community Resource Foundation where she led strategic HR initiatives in partnership with the executive team to support the overall goals and mission of the organization. Before that, she held leadership roles in HR at Ardell-Martin Business Services and WD-40® Company. She also spent time in Franchise Development and Training at San Diego-based SELLSMART, Inc.
Martin earned her bachelor’s degree in Organizational Leadership from Chapman University. She holds the following certifications: PHR, International HRM, Advanced Generalist, SPHR, SHRM-SCP. Martin is affiliated with the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) and the Association for Talent Development (ATD).
