Day Air Credit Union’s Business Development Manager, Bettina Buscemi, Dayton Area Chamber of Commerce’s Volunteer of the Quarter
KETTERING, OH (December 10, 2019) — Day Air Credit Union is proud to announce that their Business Development Manager, Bettina Buscemi, was chosen as one of the recipients of the Dayton Area Chamber of Commerce’s Volunteer of the Quarter awards.
“Day Air Credit Union’s core values of service and engagement align perfectly with the Dayton Area Chamber of Commerce’s mission.” Buscemi said. “They are an important advocate for the business community and play a critical role in enhancing community and economic development throughout the region.
Day Air is proud to partner with the Dayton Chamber of Commerce and join in the effort to enhance business and economic development throughout the region. In 2019, Day Air associates volunteered more than 250 hours to organizations like the Dayton Chamber, who are committed to making the Miami Valley a better place to live, work and play.
“Bettina is one of the best networkers anyone can imagine,” said the DACC Volunteerism Committee. “She has an astute manner of connecting the right people at the right time. Her financial experience is a real asset for this Chamber program and she constantly reminds her fellow committee members not to lose sight of the program’s mission or our financial responsibility for the Chamber.”
Buscemi is involved in numerous volunteer groups and committees within the Dayton Area including, being a member of the Chamber Challenge Golf Outing for over 27 years. She served as the first female chair of the golf outing in 2001, paving the way for future female chairs.
