WAYNESBORO, VA: DuPont Community Credit Union’s (DCCU) Board of Directors appointed W. Roy Barksdale to a recently vacated position on the Board for an unexpired term.

The Board appointed Mr. Barksdale as Director to replace Shane Wills who relocated out of the area for a new job opportunity. He is an Electronics Consultant employed by Electronics Unlimited. Mr. Barksdale also serves as a Chief Election Officer for the Albemarle County Electoral Board. He has served on the Credit Union’s Nominating Committee since 2007, and is a former charter member of the Virginia Technology Council. Mr. Barksdale lives in Batesville with his wife, Betty.
