DCUC attends NAFCU Congressional caucus

WASHINGTON, DC (September 13, 2023) — The Defense Credit Union Council’s (DCUC) President/CEO Anthony Hernandez is attending the National Association of Federally-Insured Credit Union’s (NAFCU) Congressional caucus this week. DCUC has long appreciated its partnership with NAFCU and its joint trade efforts when advocating for the interests of credit unions serving military and veteran communities.

“NAFCU’s Congressional Caucus has always served as an important advocacy event for trade system leagues and partners like DCUC, and credit union leaders. The direct access with lawmakers and regulators during the week is especially important when harmful legislation such as the heavily flawed Credit Card Competition Act poses a significant risk to the financial well-being of members and our Nation’s security,” said Anthony Hernandez. “This caucus is a great reminder of why it’s imperative we continue our collaborative efforts to ensure our members’ and their communities’ best interests are heard.”
