Delta Community adds Commercial Lending Expert
Ben Walker Joins Credit Union as Senior Director of Commercial Lending.
ATLANTA, GA (June 23, 2015) — Delta Community Credit Union (www.DeltaCommunityCU.com), Georgia’s largest credit union with assets of more than $4.8 billion and more than 318,000 members, announces the addition of Ben Walker as a senior commercial lender, reporting to Eric Latimer.
“Ben is a highly experienced lending professional with deep roots in Marietta and Cobb County,” said Latimer, director of commercial lending at Delta Community. “His ability to recognize opportunities for our business members, and to match them with Delta Community’s products and services, should contribute to those business owners’ success.”

Walker most recently served as senior vice president of Commercial Banking at United Community Bank in Marietta. He has more than 25 years of diverse experience in the financial services industry, including the management of complex real estate and commercial loan transactions. Walker holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing from Auburn University and is a graduate of the University of Georgia Banking School.
Walker is active in Cobb County civic and professional organizations, including the Marietta Kiwanis Club, the Cobb Chamber and Leadership Cobb.
