Digital Federal Credit Union Launches Branded Version of DigitalMailer’s My Virtual StrongBox Product

Herndon, Va. (September 7, 2012) — Digital Federal Credit Union (DCU), the $4.3 Billion, 365,000 member Massachusetts-based credit union, is now offering their members access to “File Vault”, DCU’s branded version of DigitalMailer’s newest product, My Virtual StrongBox.
File Vault allows DCU members to upload sensitive documents via a single sign-on to a secure, easy-to-use interface. Documents are encrypted during upload to the server and can only be added, deleted, or otherwise manipulated by their owners.
“We felt that My Virtual StrongBox was a terrific product for our members,” said David Araujo, Vice President of Information Systems for DCU “and when we learned we could brand it our own way, we were delighted. Now, we’re providing a useful service that promises to solidify member relationships.

DCU is the second credit union to implement My Virtual StrongBox. Northwest Federal Credit Union in Herndon, VA was the first to offer secure file storage to its 100,000+ members earlier this year. Adoption has been steadily increasing with both private members and businesses.
