Having worked very closely with Michele for 22 years and watching her thrive and grow into a nationally recognized leader, I am supremely confident that Michele is the perfect fit for the CEO role, and she will continue to strengthen and grow Discovery," says Bob Shaner, Board President. Smith, current Vice-President/Chief Information Officer, and Reading PA native, brings her 22-years of service and experience with Discovery FCU to her new position. Michele has been instrumental in leading the organization through the pandemic, countless strategic initiatives, product and service enhancements and the recent renovation of the branch. I can retire knowing that Discovery FCU is in great hands with Michele as my successor. I am excited to see her continue to use her talents to further enhance services to our member/owners,” says Williams.

Our exceptionally talented and service-minded team that bring their very best to work every day to make a positive impact on the lives of our member/owners. The board of directors for entrusting me to continue building on the great foundation that we have built. The future is bright at Discovery FCU,” Michele says.
