Dover Federal Credit Union announces call for scholarship applicants

DOVER, DE (March 1, 2023) — Dover Federal Credit Union is awarding six (6) $1,000 scholarship to six (6) college bound students as a part of our annual Dover Federal Scholarship Program. Each year we allow graduating high school students or currently enrolled undergraduate students to submit applications and the winners are selected by committee. Since being founded in 1958, Dover Federal Credit Union has been a financial institution whose primary purpose was, and still is, to give back to the communities that we serve. The Scholarship Program was created to give back and assist local successful youth in their future college endeavors. With community being one of our core values, we take pride and honor in helping six students and their families every year with our scholarships. Along with our annual scholarship program, Dover Federal Credit Union is also offering eligible members a chance to win a $1,500 scholarship to help cover the expanding costs associated with your college education. The Credit Union College Scholarship Program, supported by Delaware Credit Unions and our statewide campaign, Better Values – Better Banking, is funding three (3) $1,500 scholarships that will be awarded to three (3) high school graduates chosen as winners from across the state. And Dover Federal Credit Union Credit Union is hoping that one of those lucky winners is a member of our credit union. There is no fee to apply! To be eligible, you simply must be a member of Dover Federal Credit Union Credit Union and a high school senior who will be enrolled in an undergraduate college/university degree program during the 2023-2024 academic year. Each applicant must also complete a Scholarship Application and submit it along with the other required materials to Dover Federal Credit Union before April 7^th, 2023.
