The holiday season can be hard for many, especially when it comes to finances, and Dover Federal Credit Union is always looking for ways to help. This year Dover FCU team members gathered early on Thanksgiving morning to deliver over 30 Thanksgiving meals to deserving local families. Originally announced on social media as an initiative to provide 8 meals to anonymously nominated families in need, Dover FCU decided to display their gratitude for the communities they serve by delivering Thanksgiving Dinner to all of those who were nominated. The funds to support this initiative came from private donations made by Dover Federal team members during the month of November, which were then matched by the credit union. Tyler Kuhn, Dover Federal Director of Marketing & Community Development, stated “As an institution that takes pride in supporting the community, it was very rewarding to start our holiday off giving back to those who need it the most.”
