Drive, drop & donate a community event to benefit local students in need

NAPERVILLE (June 16, 2014) — The community is invited to attend DuPage Credit Union’s Drive, Drop & Donate fundraising event to benefit local students in need on Friday, June 27th at its Naperville Operation Center, 1515 Bond Street.

Drive, Drop & Donate Schedule of Events

– Electronic Recycling – 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
– Shred Day – 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
– Blood Drive – 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
– Yard Sale – 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
– And more!

Monetary contributions will be welcomed and 100 percent of the proceeds will be used to purchase backpacks and school supplies. The backpacks will be given to students attending the DuPage Regional Office of Education’s Annual Back-to-School Fair on August 6th at the Odeum in Villa Park.

“We’re over halfway to our goal of raising $10,000,” said Amy Brandt, Vice President of Business Solutions. “We’re hoping this event will put us over the top; so that we can help 500 students begin the year with the tools necessary to achieve confidence and success in the classroom.”
