DuPage Credit Union to hold a pack the Backpack Raffle at its booth at A Taste of Wheaton
NAPERVILLE, IL (June 1, 2015) — The community is invited to stop by DuPage Credit Union’s booth during A Taste of Wheaton June 5th and 6th in Wheaton’s Memorial Park, to help us pack a backpack with cash – to help local students.
During the Pack the Backpack Raffle, adults ages 18 and over can purchase raffle tickets for $5 each or three for $10. Prizes to be raffled off over the course of the two-day event include professional baseball tickets, gift certificates and more. Tickets will only be sold at the Credit Union’s booth at A Taste of Wheaton.
One hundred percent of the proceeds from the Pack the Backpack Raffle will benefit DuPage County students in need through the Credit Union’s We’ve Got Your Back backpack fundraising campaign.
“Come on out and help the kids right here in our community,” said Amy Brandt, Vice President of Business Solutions. “Our goal is to raise awareness and money for DuPage County students in need. Through our We’ve Got Your Back backpack fundraising campaign we hope to raise $20,000, which will be used to buy 1,000 backpacks and school supplies to stuff them with.”
