Eagan joins CUNA as senior legislative representative

(October 7, 2014) — Kristin Eagan has joined the Credit Union National Association (CUNA) as a senior legislative representative in the legislative affairs department.

Eagan joins CUNA from the U.S. Department of Treasury where she served in both the Legislative Affairs office and the Community Development Financial Institutions office. Prior to that, Eagan worked on the Hill for the House Ways and Means Committee and for the late Senator Byrd.

In her role at CUNA, Eagan will be responsible for managing CUNA’s relationships with Democrats in the U.S. House of Representatives on a variety of key issues including regulatory relief, tax, data and cyber security, and consumer issues.

“Kristin’s insight and strong background with the administration, and both the House and the Senate will help CUNA in many ways,” said Ryan Donovan, CUNA senior vice president of legislative affairs. “Kristin will be in constant contact with House Democrats regarding all legislative activity that impacts credit unions on behalf of CUNA and its members.”
