Eagle Vision lands in Salem as Blue Eagle CU opens new ITM location
ROANOKE, VA (May 7, 2020) — Blue Eagle Credit Union has not let the pandemic slow them down! Construction work has continued and plans to open their new West Salem lobby located at 2809 West Main Street are still underway. In fact, in an effort to provide more virtual services access points for their members, Blue Eagle CU opened the drive-up at the Salem location on Friday, May 1. While the building and lobby remain closed – as they are finishing up the remodel and waiting until it is safe to open lobbies again – Blue Eagle is serving members through their state-of-the-art Eagle Vision ITM.
What is an Eagle Vision ITM?
An ITM is an Interactive Teller Machine. Blue Eagle Credit Union named their ITMs Eagle Vision because they want you to see banking differently. The Eagle Vision machine can be used as a self-service ATM 24/7, but it also has the capability to be interactive with a human through video chat during business hours. The Eagle Vision ITM allows you to speak directly to a Blue Eagle Credit Union staff member, in real-time, to do your banking. Almost anything you can do in the office can be done through Eagle Vision. Each of the seven Blue Eagle CU offices have at least one Eagle Vision ITM.
How do you use the Eagle Vision ITM?
It’s easy! During business hours, a Blue Eagle CU member can simply touch the screen to get started. No card needed. The machine and/or the Blue Eagle Credit Union employee will let you know what to do next. If you choose to use the machine as a self-service ATM, simply insert your card and follow the onscreen prompts.
