Educational Systems Federal Credit Union helps the education community prepare for a successful new school year

GREENBELT, MD (August 11, 2014) -- Educational Systems Federal Credit Union demonstrates their commitment to support education by participating in over 45  “back to school” events throughout the month of August.  These events include new employee orientations at public school systems, new faculty and student orientations at community colleges and back to school fairs for parents, students and families.  The Credit Union is also offering a "Tips and Tools for Back to School" sweepstakes and donating backpacks to 6,500 middle school students at more than 30 schools throughout the seven school systems it serves.

At the back to school events as well as throughout the school year, the Credit Union provides financial education seminars.  Educational Systems FCU also provides financial services designed to meet the unique needs of the education community such as the option to skip summer auto loan payments for qualifying members, an Auto Buying Service and a Summer Pay account to help educators save for the summer.

During the “Tips & Tools for Back to School” sweepstakes from August 11 through September 22, the education community can share their ideas on how to achieve a successful school year for a chance to win one of six $100 Visa®Gift Cards.  In addition, one grand prize winner will be selected to give the school of their choice a $1,000 donation provided by the Credit Union.
