Educators deposits a record $4.27 million into member accounts before the holidays

MT. PLEASANT, WI (December 3, 2020) — Educators Credit Union deposited more than $4.27 million into over 132,000 accounts through Member Loyalty.

Member Loyalty is Educators Credit Union’s reward program. Members could build a reward in the program by having an active account each month. Once the member unlocked their account, they build their year-end reward. In all, members could earn a total of $165 with the Member Loyalty program.

Educators Credit Union also helped minors add money to their savings with Member Loyalty. If a minor had at least $100 in their savings, Educators deposited $25 into their account. In total, 9,850 members received this deposit for a total of more than $246,000. Minors who were eligible for a bigger reward through the Member Loyalty deposit got the higher payout.

Over the last three years, Educators Credit Union has deposited more than $10 million into members’ accounts with their reward program. The 2020 payout is the biggest ever.

Educators Credit Union is a not-for-profit financial institution serving more than 200,000 members. Educators membership is open to anyone who lives or works in Dane, Green, Jefferson, Kenosha, Milwaukee, Ozaukee, Racine, Rock, Walworth, Washington or Waukesha Counties.
