EECU honors top educators, employees
FRESNO, CA (October 4, 2024) — Educational Employees Credit Union (EECU) based in Fresno, CA, and the Madera County Superintendent of Schools recently honored the top teacher, administrator and employee of the year at the annual Madera County Excellence of Education Awards event.
Beth Dooley, EECU president and CEO, presented the awards to the winners in each category. She congratulated the award recipients and thanked all of the honorees for their passion, talent and dedication.
“This year’s honorees demonstrate their passion for education every day and they deserve to be recognized for their hard work and dedication to their students, their schools, and their community,” said Dooley.
The winners were Megan Williams, Teacher of the Year; Elizabeth “Libby” Cross, Employee of the Year; and Leonard Perez, Administrator of the Year.
The awards program was held at the Madera County Superintendent of Schools Conference Center.
The Madera County program is one of six annual county events sponsored by EECU that spotlights exemplary educators and school staff. EECU serves 12 Central California counties and has 22 branches and more than 376,000 members.
