EFCU calling for applications for annual scholarship program

ELKO, NV (February 25, 2021)

For its fourth year, Elko Federal Credit Union (EFCU) once again will reward outstanding graduating high school seniors with scholarships to help them achieve their goals of obtaining a higher education. EFCU’s annual scholarship program is calling for applications from students attending ElkoSpring CreekWells and Carlin High Schools for the 2020-2021 school year.

EFCU offers its scholarship program independently to honor six deserving graduates, each with $1,000 scholarships, for a total of $6,000 awarded annually. The scholarships are awarded to selected college-bound seniors based on academic performance, written essays, letters of recommendation, involvement in extracurricular activities and more.

To apply, students should visit www.elkofcu.org or their nearest EFCU branch, or call 775-738-4083 to request an application. Students may submit their applications and supporting documents to their school guidance counselors, to scholarships@elkofcu.org, or the mailing address on the application. All applications and supporting documents should be submitted by Friday, April 30, 2021.
