Eight credit union teams boost service and sales skills with Credit Union Sales Intensive Workshop.

 In June, SalesCU delivered two dynamic training programs—one in-person with Patriot Federal Credit Union in Pennsylvania, and another virtually with a cohort of seven credit unions from across the U.S.

From June 2–5, SalesCU worked onsite with Patriot Federal Credit Union in Chambersburg, PA to deliver a customized four-day intensive. Over 50 team members participated in the Advanced Sales Skills workshops, followed by a focused Transformational Leadership session with 14 leaders. The training was tailored using Patriot FCU’s internal language and systems, including the use of their Loan Recapture Calculator and coaching documentation tools.

The impact was felt immediately. After the first round of participants returned to their branches, they began spreading enthusiasm about the tools and strategies they’d learned—especially the Loan Recapture Calculator—creating momentum for their peers attending the following sessions. High engagement and alignment with the credit union’s existing sales and coaching culture made for a highly successful and energizing experience.

Just a week later, from June 10–12, SalesCU hosted a Virtual Sales Training Intensive attended by team members from seven credit unions: Rogue CU, UFirst FCU, United Savings CU, First Community CU, Interior FCU, Cyprus CU, and Park View CU. Participants engaged in three sessions: Sales Fundamentals, Advanced Sales Skills, and Transformational Leadership. The curriculum included interactive exercises in product mapping, benefits-focused selling, packaging assurance products, and advanced coaching models.

With 18 participants representing credit unions from across the country, the virtual format provided a unique opportunity for collaboration and networking. Attendees expressed high levels of engagement and excitement, praising the program’s depth and its relevance to their day-to-day service to members.
