Elevations Credit Union celebrated the opening of its new Midtown Branch in Fort Collins with donations to local organizations Healing Warriors Program and Project Smile. In the months of February and March 2018, Elevations donated $25 for every visitor who stopped by the new branch at 2025 S. College Ave., $50 for every new loan or new member account opened at the branch and matching funds for any additional donations made by members, up to a total of $2,500.
During check presentations with each of the nonprofit organizations, Healing Warriors Program and Project Smile each received a check in the amount of $1,250. Healing Warriors Program provides non-narcotic therapy services for pain, post-traumatic stress and sleep disturbances to veterans and active duty service members of all branches of service and any era, and their spouses, partners and parents. Project Smile helps meet an urgent need – lack of dental care and vision correction – for many children by providing in-school screenings and follow up by local dental and vision professionals.
