AUSTIN, TX (June 5, 2025) |
United Heritage Credit Union (UHCU) is proud to announce its collaboration with Austin Humane Society (AHS) to support pet adoption initiatives and animal welfare efforts in the community. UHCU will donate $300 to AHS to cover adoption fees for individuals who finance their new homes through the Credit Union. Additionally, for those unable to adopt, UHCU will still donate $300 to AHS. Buyers who finance their home with UHCU will also receive $300 credited to their post-closing costs.
This initiative reflects UHCU's dedication to serving its members and making a positive impact in the community. By partnering with AHS, a leading animal welfare organization local to Austin, UHCU aims to facilitate pet adoptions, promote responsible pet ownership, and contribute to the well-being of animals in need.
"We are excited to announce our partnership with Austin Humane Society and introduce this unique initiative to our community," said Kevin Farley, Vice President of Experience and Engagement at United Heritage Credit Union. "Through this collaboration, we hope to empower individuals to find their dream homes while supporting the important work of Austin Humane Society.”
To participate in this offer, borrowers must apply for and close on a home loan between May 28 and September 30, 2025 and redeem the offer with AHS by October 31, 2025. Prospective homebuyers interested in taking advantage of this opportunity can learn more by contacting United Heritage Credit Union, visiting uhcu.org/puppy, or stopping by their nearest branch.
“Strong community partnerships like this are central to our mission at the Austin Humane Society” says Frances Jonon, President and CEO for AHS. “United Heritage Credit Union’s Buy a House, Get a Puppy campaign speaks to the passion for philanthropy within the Austin community and we are so grateful to our friends at UHCU for selecting AHS to benefit from this generous program.”
