Elevations Foundation announces new Executive Director

Jennifer Hinderliter has been named Elevations Foundation’s new executive director. Hinderliter joins Elevations Foundation with over 20 years of experience in the nonprofit sector. Her expertise will support the foundation’s work along Colorado’s Front Range including life-changing scholarships for local students, grants for nonprofits and emergency assistance in times of need.

“We are proud of the impact we’re able to have on our local community and Jennifer will be such a great addition to this work,” said Dennis Paul, chair of Elevations Foundation’s Board of Directors. “She not only has the experience, but also the passion and love for the nonprofit sector. We look forward to watching as she helps to move Elevations Foundation forward.”

Prior to Hinderliter’s role at the foundation, she worked as a consultant, supporting nonprofit organizations with fundraising, operations, governance and communications services. Her leadership roles date back to 2004, as executive director of WOW! Children’s Museum and Banfield Charitable Trust. Hinderliter received her bachelor’s degree from the University of Oregon, then attended San Francisco State University for her master’s in public administration.

“I am excited to join the Elevations Foundation team and continue to strengthen our partnerships and service to the community,” said Hinderliter. “The work that’s been done to date is exciting and inspiring and I can’t wait to build upon on it.”

Elevations Foundation has provided over $3.88 million to students, nonprofits and emergency relief since 2010. In January of this year, the foundation raised over $1 million for victims of the Marshall Fire that devastated Boulder County on Dec. 30. Additionally, in March of 2021, the foundation rallied the community to support victims of the Boulder King Soopers shooting, raising a total of $709,224 with a $200,000 contribution from Elevations Foundation.
