ELGA Credit Union is putting down new roots in Grand Blanc!

FENTON, MI (July 21, 2020) — The ELGA Credit Union (ELGA) Board of Directors and management team are thrilled to announce that the credit union broke ground on its newest branch and headquarters located at 12700 Grand Pointe Blvd. Grand Blanc.

Representatives from ELGA and Grand Blanc Township celebrated with a ceremonial groundbreaking on Friday, July 17, 2020. The full-service branch will be ELGA’s 14th branch location.

“We’re delighted to be breaking ground on this beautiful piece of property today,” said Karen Church, ELGA CEO. “More than 5,000 credit union members who live and work in Grand Blanc have been waiting for us to open a location here, and we are excited to be part of this community.”

The property, which includes 11.5acres, will be home to a 4,400 square foot, full-service branch, as well as a 62,800 square-foot headquarters. The branch will also include four drive-thru lanes with ATM or teller access.

The new ELGA Credit Union branch is projected to open in the first quarter of 2021, while the headquarters building is expected to be completed later in the year.
