Embark Credit Union member wins $1,000 through WINcentive™ savings program

GREAT FALLS, MT (July 29, 2021) — Embark Credit Union recently awarded one member $1,000 through WINcentive™, its prize-linked savings program. This is the fourth win for this lucky member through the credit union’s innovative program, as they have previously won the monthly $100 cash prize three times.

“I hope people realize what a great program it is and what an awesome opportunity it provides,” said the four-time WINcentive™ winner. “I’m very grateful.”

Embark CU implemented this savings program in January 2019 to encourage members to see the value of saving while making it fun. The program is a unique type of savings account that enters savers into monthly, quarterly, and annual statewide prize drawings each time they increase their savings balance by $25. Members can earn up to four entries per month for a chance to win a $5,000 grand prize drawing annually, as well as $100 monthly and $1,000 quarterly prize drawings.

“Our credit union always seeks to find ways to support our members in their financial wellness journey,” said Erin Townsend, VP Member Services at Embark Credit Union. “Through this program, we have been able to showcase the value of contributing to a savings account, while also sticking to our credit union philosophy of ‘People Helping People.’ We look forward to continuing to celebrate our members’ wins as they work toward their financial goals.”

Since Embark CU started offering WINcentive™ accounts, it has given away a total of $12,800. The credit union has also authorized the implementation of a special in-house drawing. This drawing guarantees that one lucky Embark CU member will win $100 each time a monthly drawing occurs in addition to the credit union’s regular WINcentive™ opportunities.
