Emily Belshe selected as General Counsel
ST. LOUIS, MO (January 10, 2023) — Together Credit Union has hired Emily Belshe to serve as General Counsel. In this newly created in-house role, Belshe will provide partnership and legal advice on all aspects of the credit union’s operations and governance. In addition, Belshe will be responsible for managing and overseeing the credit union’s Legal, Compliance, and Risk teams/efforts, which include Vendor Management, Business Continuity, Document Management, and Enterprise Risk Management.

This position supports Together Credit Union’s strategic growth plans, including investments in fintech to meet member expectations and business objectives and implementing operational growth strategies that minimize risk while promoting brand awareness, membership loyalty and growth, and product development and expansion.

Before joining the credit union, Belshe served as a Vice President and the General Counsel for Gershman Investment Corp, a St. Louis-based mortgage services company, and the Assistant General Counsel for North American Operations and Technology at Citibank. She holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Missouri, Columbia, and graduated cum laude with her Juris Doctorate from St. Louis University School of Law. She has admission to practice law in Missouri and Illinois.
