Empower Your Financial Future with a Credit Union

On October 20, 2022, Raiz Federal Credit Union will join over 56,000 credit unions around the world to celebrate International Credit Union (ICU) Day®. The theme of ICU Day 2022 is “Empower Your Financial Future with a Credit Union.”

ICU Day highlights the many ways that credit unions across the world help members improve their financial health and well-being. To celebrate, Raiz will be giving away branded items and hosting a gift card raffle at each of their nine branches around the city as well as on their social media pages.

Alex Yu, VP of Raiz, states “At Raiz, we believe in empowering our members to reach their financial goals by providing them with guidance, education, and resources fit to their needs. It is our members and our strong community who inspire us to pave new pathways forward each day. We look forward to celebrating this day each year and are thankful for those who give us their continuous trust and support.” Credit unions were built on the principle of “people helping people.” We’ve seen that philosophy in action for more than 100 years, with credit unions providing access to affordable financial products and striving to meet the needs of underserved communities.

Raiz is honored to be a part of this proud tradition. Raiz invites both members and nonmembers to visit one of their nine locations around El Paso to celebrate and learn about the benefits of banking with a credit union. Raiz will share member stories and event highlights on social media using #ICUDay.

International Credit Union Day® is brought to you by Credit Union National Association and World Council of Credit Unions. This year’s event is proudly sponsored by Zogo.
